Now you can watch YouTube movies with pals over FaceTime

[ad_1]

YouTube is an immensely popular video-sharing platform with millions of unique views each day, boasting billions in daily views alone. Furthermore, it provides features designed to improve user experience – such as its voice chat function or video queuing features – in order to deliver an exceptional user experience.

As part of your YouTube Premium subscription, now you can share videos with your friends over FaceTime as well.

Google is making improvements to YouTube as part of an effort to expand subscriber numbers for the popular video service.

Apple’s Share Play

SharePlay allows you to watch movies or TV shows with friends over FaceTime calls. The feature synchronizes media playback and adds shared controls so everyone can pause, rewind or fast forward at will.

Use this feature with either Wi-Fi or cellular data plans on an iPhone, iPad, Mac computer or Apple TV – especially useful if traveling and not having access to WiFi networks.

While on a FaceTime video call, you can add GIFs and emojis into the conversation by tapping on the GIF icon at the bottom of your screen or send sounds by tapping the Messages icon at the bottom.

FaceTime is available free-of-charge in the App Store for iOS devices running the latest operating system (iPhone 4s or later, iPad Pro (all models), and iPod touch 5th generation).

If you have a cellular data plan, FaceTime audio calling can also be utilized over this medium. This voice-only version requires less data usage than its standard video counterpart.

YouTube will release higher-quality videos for iOS beyond SharePlay, featuring 1080p HD quality for improved detail and motion.

Higher-quality videos will take advantage of the ProMotion displays on both iPhone 14 and 8 Plus models, streaming over both Wi-Fi and cellular data networks – no internet connection necessary!

Facetime Helps to Share Youtube Videos

FaceTime allows you to easily share YouTube videos with anyone with an Apple device running the latest version of iOS, by sending them a link that opens directly in any app that supports SharePlay.

This feature of YouTube represents an improvement over previous versions, which only allowed you to upload one video at a time. Now, sharing multiple videos simultaneously provides the perfect way for people to showcase playlists or full-length movies.

As part of this update, YouTube Premium subscribers can now create a playback queue. This lets them set multiple videos to playback automatically one after another on one device that connects to Wi-Fi or cellular data networks.

Google (Alphabet) Upgrading

Google is taking significant strides toward increasing subscriptions with their launch of YouTube Premium subscription service and now allows subscribers to play back all of their library on mobile and tablet devices if they subscribe. This move marks a key advancement towards their goal.
